How to cook an Italian Carbonara in the US

Recipe # 3!



Do you like pasta? Do you want to cook something easy but still really tasty? Do you happen to have some eggs and bacon home? So you are almost done, almost ready to prepare a wonderful Carbonara!






  


What you need for 5 or 4 people is:
  • a package of pasta, I would say Spaghetti
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 slices of bacon (you can use the same one used for breakfast)
  • Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper 

While boiling the water in a pot (3/4 full), with some salt in it, you need to pan fry the bacon, cut in small pieces. Then, beat the eggs in a cup, adding a pinch of salt and pepper. If you want your sauce to end up more “creamy” you can add some milk or crème fresh. Add some graded Parmesan cheese.


When the water is boiling add the Spaghetti and cook them for the right time! You’ll want them be “al dente”. Be sure to stir them, so they don’t stich together!
Pasta is ready? So it’s time to add the perfect Carbonara sauce and the fried bacon!
I have cooked it twice here, and I can tell you, it doesn’t matter to have the perfect ingredients, what matters is to know what not to use and what can be a real good substituted! Your friends or family will love it! Now, you just have to try!
