Leben - First Date

Hello everybody,

We got some requests to write about "First Dates"
Your wish is our command!

Dear readers in Italy, Germany, USA and around the world...

"First Dates" are something special and magical.

You try to look perfect and pretty.
You decide what to wear; not to sexy not too casual
How to do your make up and how to style your hair...

Here is some advise for the girls by MarieClaire.

That´s the same everywhere around the globe!
Everyone wants to look as good as possible for the person he/she wants to attract.

Well what about the initial "First Date"?
When you think of First Dates, what comes up to your mind?

Cinema, restaurant, picnic! The usual thing right?

I think most men aren't really creative. But going to restaurant, cinema or picnic you can't go wrong, it's a "default" date.
But its also nothing special.

Be on the safe side with the dates mentioned above, or be unique and try something different!

We women want to be surprised
Cinema/restaurant is nice, but if you want to be remembered think of something special and unique fitting to the girl you want to attract.

Men, you have to try something new, unique and surprising!
That´s my advice.

I would agree on the first four essentials. The last one "vintage clothes" presented on the picture on her Blog would be a "no-go"!

It could help you for the next "First Date".

If you want more information, this blog (The Art of Manliness) seems to be really good. Check it out.

Dear readers...
there is no big difference between the countries when it comes to dating, as you see!
We are living in different countries and continents, but "First dates" are mostly the same everywhere (from what I know).

Well if not?  Leave a comment and we will correct it.

It would be interesting to hear what you think about "First dates"?
What was your best and worst "First Date"?

Hopefully the end of the Date looks/looked like this.

By the way:
Men are different here in the US.
I think US men are more open and not so shy like German men.

I definitely recognized that more men are asking women/me for the number or to go on a date.
That was/is kind of a funny experience, either it was in a gym, in the subway or downtown.
Hint: German men don´t be so shy
